Lactation Counseling

Initial Home or Hospital Visit - $150 (up to 2 hours)

Each additional hour of support - $75

Virtual Visit (FaceTime, Skype, Google Hangout) - $90 (up to 2 hours)

Private Childbirth Education

Traditionally booked in a series to provide time to cover pregnancy through postpartum and baby care. The primary topics discussed are but not limited to:

  • stages and phases of labor 

  • physiology and hormones of labor

  • when to go to the hospital or birth center

  • comfort measures and positions conducive to labor

  • informed decision making

  • potential restrictions and interventions

  • various pain management techniques

  • breastfeeding/bottle-feeding

  • neonatal protocols and preferences

  • newborn care

  • emotional and physical adjustments postpartum

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, virtual education is an option at the same rates. Call me to discuss!

4 week series ( 2 hours, one day a week for 4 weeks) - $400

Condensed series (4 hours each day for 2 days) - $400

Either series if purchased with a birth package - $350

Birth Support - Accepting new clients in April 2020

Doula support consists of two prenatal visits, on-call support from 38-42 weeks (2 weeks before and after your "due date"), attendance at the birth (labor support) and up to two postpartum visits, typically within 7 days of birth. Unlimited text, calls and emails through this entire period. The cost is $1600 for the above.

  • Half ($800) is due up front at our first prenatal visit with the remaining ($800) due by 38 weeks.

  • If opting for Childbirth Education, the additional fee ($350) is also due at our initial prenatal visit (for a total of $1150 due up front)

  • Flexible payments plans and a sliding scale is available for those in financial need. Bartering is also accepted! I believe that anyone who wants a Doula should have the support.

  • Additional postpartum hours and lactation support can be purchased at the rates highlighted above
